The Nashville Kangaroos have their biggest event of the year to close out their 2023 regular season this Saturday September 16th at 1 pm at Elmington Park. After spending Wednesday morning with the students at Holy Trinity Montessori as part of the Learn: Australia program, the Kangaroos will be running a Kids Clinic where the kids will get to participate in drills to learn how to handball and how to kick and get a chance to kick at the goals!
Following the Kids Clinic, the Rooboys will be taking on their nemesis, the Chicago Swans! Game time is 2:00 pm at Elmington Park. Nashville holds a 15-14 all time lead when playing the Swans, and an impressive 8-2 record when playing at home in Nashville – so the hopes are high that the Kangaroos will continue their winning ways. They are 7-4 on the season and this is the final regular season match before they head to Sarasota, Florida for the 2023 USAFL National Championships where they expect to win the National title in Division III.
Come on out to see the kids learning Aussie Rules at 1 pm and then stick around for the major battle at 2 pm to cheer on your Nashville Kangaroos! Then at 7:30 pm come to Homegrown Taproom & Kitchen where the boys will be eating and relaxing post-game, and likely telling tall tales of their great their exploits on the field that afternoon!
CARN THE ROOS!
