Let’s go Predators!
On Tuesday April 3rd the Nashville Predators (NHL professional Ice Hockey team) hosted 30 players and supporters of the Nashville Kangaroos Footy Team at Bridgestone Arena. The Predators were taking on the Minnesota Wild in front of another sold out crowd as they prepared for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Sitting in the lower bowl, the Kangaroos were greeted with a sign on the jumbo screen during the first period, welcoming them and other community groups to the game.
In the third period with the scores still at 0 – 0, the camera focused on the boys with the DJ playing “Down Under” by Men at Work, much to the delight of the club and the Predators Fans.
The game ended in a penalty shootout, with the Predators coming away with a brilliant win. It was a fantastic night as the club sought to get some more exposure for the Nashville Kangaroos, whilst spending some time together before the Footy and Netball seasons started.
The club would like to thank the Nashville Predators for a fantastic evening and wish them every success in the playoffs.
