East Nashville Nasties even series against Western Wallabies

Five new players debuted at Metro Game 4. Being thrown into a match on day one provided a very steep learning curve, especially for those who had never even heard of Australian football before! Only one of the new recruits remember seeing a game on television. Somehow these footy prodigies were able to compete remarkably well on the two minute tutorial they received. In fact, Mike Gustin kicked 3 goals in his first game while wearing borrowed cleats!

Davis Fox got his name in the record books with a goal in the last quarter, Elliot Szabo created space and earned numerous disposals in the center, Wallaby #7 ran all over the field with exciting speed and must have had ten tackles, and the big man from Ghana was an absolute wall in defense.

If that wasn’t enough, the East Nashville Nasties won the game to even the series at 2-2, leaving us with a season deciding Metro Game 5: East vs West in two weeks.

Final score:
East Nashville Nasties 13.13 (91)
Western Wallabies 8.8 (56)

East: Clifford Cosnahan 7, Tim Dunn 3, Mike Gustin 3.
West: Evan Ling 5, Eric Toepfer 2, Davis Fox.
