Join the Nashville Kangaroos for their first ever official "Sundowner" at the Sportsman's Grille in Hillsboro Village on Wednesday July 13, 2005. The evening will kick off at 6:00 p.m. and we will have Tooheys NEW (great Australian beer) on special all night. President White will also be presenting the Sportsman's Grille with a plaque thanking the Grille for 10 years of supporting the Nashville Kangaroos. The Sundowner will be upstairs in the new Sportsman's "Clubhouse" - if you haven't been by to see the addition you need to check this out!

For those of you wondering, a "Sundowner" is a swagman who arrived at a place at sunset so that he could ask for food and shelter without having to work in exchange. Of course, you will have to pay for your food and drink at the Sportsman's Grille... but for the romantic at heart - bring as much swagger as you like and be prepared to have a great time.

Tooheys NEW is also running a limited edition special with Frugal MacDoogals who are offering a FREE Lucky Roo Ticket with each case of Tooheys purchased. Frugal MacDoogal is the first outlet carrying this product in Nashville. Tooheys have been brewing beer in Australia for over 150 years (not exactly "new" are they?!).
