Kangaroos Bombed Out After 3 Close Quarters......
May 21, 2005
The Nashville Kangaroos were back home at Elmington Park (for the first time since September of 2003) - and it sure was nice. The bleachers traditionally filled up just after kick-off - the commentary was coming in loud and clear - and  great afternoon of Australian Football at Elmington Park was to follow. The game was played in near perfect (but warm) conditions and the match hung in balance thru the first 3 quarters with Milwaukee holding a 5 point lead at 3/4 time. Unfortunately for the Kangaroos the Bombers blitzed in the final quarter slamming on 6 goals to 1 to see the final scores - Milwaukee 13-7-85 defeat Nashville 7-648.

Although a disappointing loss for the Kangaroos many good signs came from the game - with Luke Nemeth & Will Churchill absolutely dominating for the Kangaroos, well supported by Coach Link, the fine return of veterans Ian Fraser, Justin Allen, and Ben McCrostie and Kangaroo newcomers Dave Kintgen (Vandy) and Gilbeto Ortiz. The Kangaroos fall to 0-2 in the Mid American Australian Football League and next match up they will host St. Louis Blues on June 11 at Elmington Park.
