Kangaroos Belted In Chicago
Story posted May 7, 2005
The Nashville Kangaroos, traveling with less than the required number of players to field a team (14) were severely manhandled by the Chicago Swans today in Chicago. Final scores were Chicago 16-12-108 to Nashville 2-4-16. With the Kangaroos playing with one player short, the Chicago Swans generously loaned the Roos 4 players in very sporting act.

The Kangaroos took around a quarter and half to get their game rolling and really played a stronger second half restricting Chicago to 6 goals after half time. To the teams credit the Kangaroos fought out the game tenaciously scoring their only 2 goals for the match in the game's final ten minutes. The Kangaroos featured 4 first game players who did well in their debut and they were well supported by the Kangaroo veteran seniors. The Kangaroos will be playing their first home game in Nashville on May 21 when they play the Milwaukee Bombers - [Chicago Pictures - Click Here].
