Join the Nashville Kangaroos for their sixth annual Spring Fling Tennis Mixer, to be held at Sportsplex Tennis Center on Friday May 13, 2005 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The event is a general public event open to all players, and will be a round robin format including playing with different partners in each match. Of course, as with most Kangaroos events, the atmosphere will be relaxed and casual - a great place to meet some fun and interesting people, enjoy some tennis, and socialize in fine Kangaroos style. You do not need a partner, nor any tennis experience. We also will have racquets available for use.

The following divisions are being offered in this year's Spring Fling Tennis Mixer:

• Kangaroo Division - Competitive tennis background.

• Koala Division - Regular competition background.

• Emu Division - Beginning competition background.

• Wombat Division - Not much previous playing experience.
  (but you are a real GOER!)

• *** Free Tennis Clinic from 6:00-6:30 p.m. - beginners welcome! ***

There will be 3 matches for each player with the top two winners receiving trophies in all divisions. There will also be some light refreshments and nibbles available on the Sportsplex Upper Deck. For more information and details please contact our Event Chairman - Karen Hillebrand at (615) 335-5812. Karen is our founding club secretary (1997-1998) and can just about answer anything related to tennis (Father is a teaching pro in California - Grandfather had a big tennis center in Moonee Ponds in Melbourne - and to boot Karen's Mum has been ranked in the top ten women tennis players in the world in the 60's age group division over the last 5 years). 

Entry fee is $10.00 for club members or $15.00 for general public and guests. (Join/Renew Club). Entry fee includes 3 games of tennis, court and racquet hire, and some light refreshments.
