Kangaroo Football Ready To Roll

The Nashville Kangaroos are excited to announce the 2005 Kangaroos Schedule as well as the Nashville Australian Football League Metro Footy League. Heading up administration of the football program in 2005 is club veteran Jeff Persson. Jeff will be working closely with Club Coach Bo Link and Caption Dee Vsetecka to ensure a great season for the Roo Boys.

Training for March and April is at Vanderbilt on the Natchez Field, Tuesdays and Thursdays (be there) at 7 pm (on time) which means get there between 6:30 and 6:45 to stretch etc. so we can start at 7:00. The Kangaroos will continue practice at Elmington Park (new field) from May to the end of the season in September with Nationals the first week in October in Milwaukee.

NAFL Metro games are set already: three rounds and a championship match. Everyone gets game time. Here is the schedule for the 2005 Nashville Australian Football League:

April 2, 2005 - Music City VS Vandy Aussie Rules - 1:00 p.m.
April 2, 2005 - Five Points VS Belmont Aussie Rules - 2:00 p.m.
April 5, 2005 - Music City VS Belmont Aussie Rules - 7:00 p.m.
April 5, 2005 - Five Points VS Vandy Aussie Rules - 8:00 p.m.
April 14, 2005 - Music City VS Five Points - 7:00 p.m.
April 14, 2005 - Vandy Aussie Rules VS Belmont Aussie Rules - 8:00 p.m.
April 23, 2005 - NAFL Championship Tournament - 12:00 p.m. 

The Kangaroos 2005 Schedule has also been released. It is one of the most exciting schedules the Roos have ever had. Here are the matches, so mark the dates and lets have a big year!
