Netball News
Our Netball team should be known as the wanderers! We switched our locations again this year and now are happy with our newest venue, Bethel World Outreach Center.
The Winter Season was a fun and spirited time of training new players and getting the old timers back in shape. As we took our spring break and prepared for the Summer Season, the Nashville floods hit and our venue was lost for a couple of months (appropriately) to help with the relief effort for the flood victims. We are now gearing up for the summer and are looking ahead to our first fall season as well. We should be posting our schedule shortly.
In other netball news, Moreen Logsdon had been tirelessly building Netball America, which we hope will soon be the official recognized body of netball in the United States. Thanks for all the hard work, Moreen! Plus, when the Kangaroos hit the road later this year to participate in tournaments in San Francisco and possibly Los Angeles, they will be sporting their brand new uniforms, thanks in part to support from Netball America - it's good to have connections!
