Among them are the governing bodies of the sport in America, and the greater infrastructure that gives Aussie-rules football its credibility, authenticity and growing popularity here, in Australia and around the world. We salute the work they do.
Mid American Australian Football League
The Mid American Australian Football League is the premier regional footy league in the United States being both the oldest regional league (2000) and with the largest number of teams under its banner (5 Championship Division teams and 7 Regional Division teams). The Kangaroos are proud to be a founding member of this league and are also the 2000 and 2002 Champions, looking to add a third title in 2007.

United States Australian Rules Football League
The USAFL is the governing body of Australian Football in the United States. It was formed in 1997 and focuses on the growth of the sport for men, women and juniors, as well as internationally.
Australian Football League
The AFL is the governing body of Australian Football in the world. Based in Melbourne, Australia, the AFL has been a generous supporter of footy in about 20 countries around the world. It is also the host for the International Cup, with the third Cup coming up in 2008, coinciding with the sesquicentennial celebration of footy in Australia (150 years makes it older than American football!)

The Australian Festival was founded by the Nashville Kangaroos in 1997 and has grown to become the largest Australian celebration of its kind outside of Australia.
